Indonesia's main news agency, Antara, published an article by the Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Pakhil on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence day.

The article titled "After 23 years of independence, Ukraine's struggle continues" states that after 23 years of peaceful existence Ukraine is forced once again to fight for its independence. It goes on that despite the difficulties, the Ukraininan people are united in the struggle against the foreign aggression. On the way to victory the support of the international community is particularly important, the article concludes.

The article emphasizes Ukraine's gratitude for Indonesia's position with regard to the territorial integrity and state sovereignty of Ukraine, its decisiveness with regard to the strengthening of bilateral Ukrainian-Indonesian cooperation.
