VISA REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Passport and Visa are required for entry into Ukraine. Visas should be obtained from the Consular Office of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Indonesia.

 

MAIN RULES OF VISA PROCESSING

The application should be submitted not earlier than 90 days prior to the date of the planned visit to Ukraine and not later than 30 days prior to the date of the planned visit to Ukraine.

The Embassy bears no responsibility for the applicant’s traveling schedule.

Please note that the visa processing takes 15-30 days.

Personal attendance and interview are required for applying for a visa.

A passport with an issued visa may be taken from the Embassy by the authorized personnel/representatives (in this case the officially registered power of attorney is required).

Only the originals of the invitations are accepted.

The Embassy bears no responsibility for the visa mistakes, which were not brought to its attention. Please, carefully check the data in Your visas. Should any visa mistake be found, please, immediately contact the Embassy for corrections (1 business day).

 

 VISA TYPES

 

Visa type depends on the purpose of entry into Ukraine. The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Indonesia issues the following 3 visa types.

 

1. Transit Visa (“B” type) – issued for the individuals, who need to conduct a transit journey to another country via the territory of Ukraine. This visa is also issued for the purposes of conducting the transit cargo and passenger motor transport operations via the territory of Ukraine. Please note:  In case of transit flight via the international airports of Ukraine the transit visa is NOT needed (provided the transit passenger stays in the transit zone of the airport). IMPORTANT! The transit journey via the territory of Ukraine should not exceed 5 days.

 

2. Short-term visa (“C” type) – issued for the individuals, who need to enter Ukraine for period of up to 90 days during 180 days (beginning with the date of the first arrival).

 

3. Long-term visa (“D” type) – issued for the individuals, who need to enter Ukraine with the purpose of drawing up the documents, required for stay or residing in Ukraine during the period longer than 90 days.

 

 GENERAL VISA REQUIREMENTS

 

I to apply for a Transit Visa, an applicant must submit:

1.         Valid passport with at least 2 free visa pages. Please note: the passport should not expire earlier than 3 months after the expiration of requested visa.

2.         1 passport-size photograph.

3.         Copy of the main passport page (containing the name and main requisites of the applicant).

4.         One of the following documents (AND it’s photocopy):

  • Document certifying the transit purpose of the journey to Ukraine (i.e. visa for entering the country of destination; travel confirmation).
  • Document certifying the purpose of conducting transit cargo and passenger motor transport operations via the territory of Ukraine.
  • License for conducting the international transport operations, issued by the corresponding official authorities of Indonesia.

      5.   Medical insurance.

 

Please note! The Consular Office has full authority to evaluate and request more documents than were submitted by the applicant.

 

 

II. to apply for a Short-term Visa, an applicant must submit:

 

1.         Valid passport with at least 2 free visa pages. Please note: the passport should not expire earlier than 3 months after the expiration of requested visa.

2.         1 passport-size photograph.

3.         Copy of the main passport page (containing the name and main requisites of the applicant).

4.         Copy of itinerary confirmation (e.g. flight tickets and etc.).

5.         One of the following documents/document sets (AND it’s photocopy):

•          An invitation (made by a legal entity or a private person) and formally issued by the Immigration office of Ukraine. Please note! The private Letters of support ARE NOT regarded as invitations. 

•          An invitation, issued by one of the Ministries of Ukraine.

•          An invitation, issued by any of the official Ukrainian authorities or a state-owned company/institution of Ukraine.

•          A document certifying family relations with a citizen of Ukraine or a foreigner/stateless person possessing Ukrainian permanent/temporary residence permit (e.g. birth certificate, marriage certificate etc.).

•          A letter of invitation from a Ukrainian tourist agency, copy of agreement on providing tourist services or so called tourist voucher.

•          An invitation from a Ukrainian hospital.

•          A document certifying that the applicant is a co-founder of a joint venture in Ukraine.

•          A document certifying that the applicant is an official representative of a joint venture in Ukraine and is planning to enter Ukraine for supervising the existing contract.

•          Documents certifying Ukrainian background of the applicant.

•          A document issued by the Committee on Humanitarian Aid of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and certifying that the applicant is planning to visit Ukraine for conducting a humanitarian mission or for charity purposes.

•          A letter of invitation from a religious organization duly registered in Ukraine. The letter of invitation must bear the signature and seal of the authorized official of the Ministry of culture of Ukraine.

•          An official address issued by the Head of  the mass media agency and certifying that the applicant is a reporter or an Agency representative and is planning to visit Ukraine for carrying out official duties.

•          An official address of the official Indonesian authorities or International organizations, officially accredited in Ukraine.

                6.     Medical insurance.

III. to apply for a Long-term Visa, an applicant must submit:

 

1.         Valid passport with at least 2 free visa pages. Please note: the passport should not expire earlier than 3 months after the expiration of requested visa.

2.         1 passport-size photograph.

3.         Copy of the main passport page (containing the name and main requisites of the applicant).

4.         One of the following documents/document sets (AND it’s photocopy):

•          A labor authorization document - (DOZVIL NA PRATSEVLASHTUVANNIA) with the name of the applicant issued by the Ministry of Labor of Ukraine and obtained for him/her in advance by the employer in Ukraine.

•          A copy of immigration permission. The document must be issued by the Immigration authorities of Ukraine.

•          A visa permission, issued for the relatives of the individuals, who had received refuge in Ukraine. The corresponding permissions are issued by the Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine.

•          The original of the corresponding study invitation. Please note! The applicant must be on the list of foreign students issued by the Ministry of education of Ukraine (the list is annually circulated to the Embassies of Ukraine by the Ministry of education of Ukraine) during the period of 15th August-15th November).

•          An invitation for the purposes of international technical assistance, issued by Ukrainian state-owned institutions, enterprises and organizations.

•          An invitation from any of the Ukrainian religious organizations. The invitation letter must bear the confirmation of the Ministry of culture of Ukraine (the signature and seal of the Ministry official in charge).

•          An invitation, issued by a Ukraine-based branch of an International non-governmental organization, duly registered by the competent authorities of Ukraine.

 

•          An invitation, issued by a Ukrainian-based branch of a foreign business entity, duly registered by the competent authorities. The invitation must be certified by the Ministry of economy of Ukraine.

•          A letter of confirmation, certifying that the applicant is a representative of an international mass-media agency, duly registered in Ukraine or family member of such a person. The corresponding letters are issued by the Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine.

•          Documents, certifying that the applicant is to enter Ukraine for the purposes of carrying out official duty as a staff member (or his/her family member) of a diplomatic mission/international organization office, accredited in Ukraine.

      5.   Medical insurance.

Please note!

The visa fee is not refundable. In this regard we strongly recommend submitting the visa fee only after being told to do so by the visa officer.

The Embassy doesn’t accept cash. The visa fee must be transferred to the corresponding bank account of the Embassy (see “visa fees payment requisites”).
