Official documents issued by the Indonesian authorities and which are intended to be used in Ukraineshould go through a procedure of legalization in the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Indonesia. Prior to legalization in the Embassy, the documents are to be legalized by the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
After a document has been legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, it can be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy.
To apply for legalization one should provide the following documents:
(a) individuals have to show a document that confirms his or her identity, as well as submit an application to the Consular Section, dated and signed by the individual, which also identifies the documents to be legalized and states a purpose of legalization;
(b) legal entities should present request for legalization done on their letterhead, stamped and signed by an authorized representative, which includes the legal entity's address, identifies the documents to be legalized and states the intended use of the documents.
In the case that an individual or legal entity submits a request for legalization through a representative, a power of attorney or other notarized document confirming authority of the representative to act on behalf of the individual or the legal entity, whose document is to be legalized, must also be submitted. Each document submitted to the Consular Section for legalization must also be accompanied by a photocopy of the entire original.
The fees for legalization are:
For individuals - $ 60USD per document;
For legal entities - $ 160 USD per document.
The fee is doubled for "RUSH" processing, i.e. legalization within less than 3 working days.
