On the Independence Day of Ukraine, 24 August 2026, the exhibition “Living the War: Children” by BringKidsBack_UA opened in Jakarta.

The exhibition tells the stories of Ukrainian children whose childhoods have been changed by Russia’s war of aggression — marked by air-raid sirens and shelters, displacement, loss and separation, but also by resilience, hope and dreams for the future.

The project was brought to Indonesia through the cooperation of the Embassy of Ukraine, the Delegation of the European Union and ISA Art Gallery.
