The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Indonesia, Volodymyr Pakhil, participated in the official ceremony and reception on the occasion of the 68th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, hosted by President S. B. Yudhoyono.

Members of the Government, Parliamentarians, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in the country participated in the event.

The Indonesian people remember and appreciate Ukraine's support on Indonesia's path to independence. The Ukrainian delegation was the first in the United Nations to support the sovereign right of the coutnry to internationally recognized independence.
