Representatives of the Ukrainian Embassy took part in the 68th National Press Day in the city of Bengkulu, South Sumatra Province of the Republic of Indonesia.

The event, which was patronized by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, Indonesian and foreign officials, leasers of political parties, Indonesian and ASEAN journalists.

Within the context of the National Press Day, trainings were conducted for media representatives, "round tables" discussed the state of free press in the Republic of Indonesia, and balanced coverage during the election year.
