According to the Republic of Indonesia, the so-called "referendum" is illegitimate, and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is an integral part of Ukraine.

The Republic of Indonesia is one of the first countries in South-East Asia to publicly support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and to acknowledge the illegitimacy of the so-called "referendum" of 16.03.2014.
