On June 7th, Ukraine's fifth President was inaugurated in Kyiv. Petro Olexiyovych Poroshenko was sworn in at the plenary hall of the Ukrainian Parliament. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including former Presidents of Ukraine, parliamentarians, members of the Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine, representatives of all religious confessions of Ukraine, as well as delegations from 56 countries.
The event received the "blessing" of the international community on an unprecedented level.
