On the occasion of the day of the Constitution of Ukraine, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko laid flowers to the monument of author of the first Ukrainian Constitution, Hetman Pylyp Orlyk.

The solemn ceremony was also attended by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Turchynov, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the first and the second Presidents of independent Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk and Leonid Kuchma, Kyiv CSA Head, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, people’s deputies and public figures.
