Pseudo-elections in occupied areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions have nothing to do with representative democracy and violate the Minsk Agreements.

Neither Ukraine nor the rest of the civilized world recognize this farce. I hope sincerely that Russia will not recognize these pseudo-elections either. Any elections in Ukraine, at which Ukrainian citizens vote, must be held exclusively in accordance with Ukrainian laws.

I thank the residents of Donbas, who rallied today at the streets of Mariupol and other cities in favor of maintaining the unity of Ukraine.
