Solemn events were held in Jakarta on 17 August on the occasion of the 72nd Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia with the participation of the President of Indonesia, ministers, parliamentarians, media representatives and heads of diplomatic missions.

Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Volodymyr Pakhil congratulated Indonesian leadership with this outstanding date and discussed most important issues of bilateral relations with Indonesian high-ranking officials.

Congratulatory letters from the President of Ukraine, Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada were conveyed to the Indonesian Side.
