Leading Indonesian information agency «KOMPAS» on the eve of the 21th anniversary of Ukraine's independence published the interview with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Indonesia Volodymyr Pakhil.

It was stated about the formation of Ukraine as an independent state, its social, political and economic development. Special attention was paid to the current state of Ukrainian-Indonesian relations, establishing active bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Indonesia, which recently have celebrated the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.

Among the priorities of bilateral economic cooperation the metallurgical, chemical, aerospace, agricultural areas were stated. The military-technical cooperation opens the future trends as Ukraine has a powerful industrial complex and related technologies.
