On 7-8 December Bali Democracy Forum X was held in Serpong, Republic of Indonesia, under the theme “Does democracy deliver?”. The event was attended by delegations from around 100 states and 7 international organizations.

          The Forum was officially opened by Vice-President of the Republic of Indonesia Yusuf Kalla. UN Secretary General Antonio Gutteres addressed the audience with a welcoming video message.

          A number of issues related to the role of democracy in ensuring security, equality and social justice were discussed by the event’s participants.

          Delivering his address at the Forum, Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Indonesia Volodymyr Pakhil emphasized on the challenges faced by our country on its democratic path in the conditions of current Russian hybrid aggression.
