At the initiative of the Embassy and with the promotion of the Ukrainian State Film Agency, Ukrainian movies “The Nest of the Turtledove” and “My Grandmother Fanny Kaplan” were showcased at the international film festival “Europe on Screen”, which took place in Indonesia on 3-12 May 2018 under the auspices of the European Union.

The film screenings took place in six largest cities of Indonesia. Numerous spectators, mostly Indonesian youth, watched European cinema with great interest.

The participation of “The Nest of the Turtledove” and “My Grandmother Fanny Kaplan” in the non-profit international film festival contributed to the awareness of the Indonesian public about Ukraine as a modern European state.
