Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Indonesia H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Pakhil took part in the 11^th Bali Democracy Forum on 6-7 December.

In his speech during the Forum’s General Debate, the Ambassador emphasized that Ukraine’s democratic path in the Euro-Atlantic direction faced significant resistance from the side of Russia, who occupied Crimea in 2014 and carries military aggression in the east of Ukraine. The recent act of military aggression of Russia in the Sea of Azov was specifically highlighted by the Ambassador, as well as the introduction of martial law in Ukraine in this regard.

The Forum’s participants were also informed about the developments and reforms in Ukraine, which are being implemented in our country notwithstanding the Russian aggression.
