Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Indonesia Volodymyr Pakhil took part in the meeting of diplomatic missions’ heads with the Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Anies Baswedan. The event was organized by the Government of the Indonesian capital with the purpose of maintaining a dialogue with diplomatic missions accredited in Indonesia on the development of Jakarta's overseas relations.

In the capacity of the Dean of the diplomatic corps, the Ambassador of Ukraine addressed to the participants of the event with the welcoming speech noting the efforts of Jakarta Government to build up a modern metropolis and solve its urgent problems.

Ambassador Pakhil confirmed the readiness of the Ukrainian capital to deepen cooperation with Jakarta within sister-cities format and called the Indonesian Side for active international cooperation to address current challenges of modern capitals.
