On September 12, an official reception on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of Ukraine's independence was held in Jakarta.

Representatives of the Government, Parliament, MFA, public and business circles, Indonesia's media, the ASEAN Secretariat and the local diplomatic corps took part in the event.

Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Pakhil and Honorary Guest from the Indonesian side, Tourism Minister Arief Yahya addressed the welcoming speeches, emphasizing the good level of Ukrainian-Indonesian relations and mutual aspiration of the parties for their further development. Particular attention was paid to the situation in and around Ukraine.
