On October 21, 2021, H.E. Mr Vasyl Hamianin, Ambassador of Ukraine to Indonesia presented online the copies of Credentials to H.E. Mr Andy Rachmianto, Chief of State Protocol, Director General of Protocol and Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. 

During the meeting, Vasyl Hamianin underlined that Ukraine-Indonesia relations have an immense untapped potential for development in various areas of interaction important for both countries.

“Ukraine is ready to upgrade cooperation with Indonesia to a qualitatively new level of partnership, and we shall continue to pursue this goal through pragmatism, efficiency and concrete achievements," – Ambassador stressed. 

Vasyl Hamianin also mentioned Ukraine's interest in strengthening interaction with Indonesia in facing global challenges, especially dangerous and the most pressing hybrid threats.

Finally, Ambassador expressed confidence in the further rapprochement of Ukraine and Indonesia through deepening of mutual knowledge between two countries, enhancing business and cultural contacts, as well as conducting state and official visits, in line with other high-level bilateral events.
