On August 17, 2020, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, a solemn event in digital format was held in Jakarta, which was attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Pakhil.

The ceremony, which took place at the Presidential Palace, was attended by Indonesian President Joko Vidodo and Vice President Maruf Amin.

Members of the Government, parliamentarians, media representatives, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Indonesia, etc. also joined the video conference on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Indonesia's independence.
