Consumers across the world can now get their hands on fine Ukrainian products while at the same time contributing to the country’s reconstruction.
Businesses are again joining efforts to support Ukrainian products in the international arena.
EVO, a Ukrainian IT firm, and Banda, a communications agency, have teamed up with Visa to create Made with Bravery, a marketplace for goods made in Ukraine by Ukrainian producers.
The initiative also has the support of the country’s ministries of digital transformation and foreign affairs, as well as the Ukrainian Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office and Diia.Business.
Ukrposhta, the national postal operator, is the logistics partner of the project, ensuring deliveries abroad.
‘’The Made with Bravery marketplace is a great opportunity to show cool goods and products of Ukrainian companies to the general public,” says Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s minister for digital transformation.
“Ukraine has brave entrepreneurs and first-class brands that the whole world should know about. This platform will allow these businesses to scale and find new customers. This is profit, jobs, and an opportunity to contribute and keep the economy of Ukraine at a stable level. In addition, this is another opportunity for people from other countries to learn about Ukrainian and support us.”
The marketplace features a wide range of goods for different ages and genders: clothes, footwear, accessories, household goods; even food and beverages that have a long shelf life and can be ordered.
“In wartime, the support of Ukrainian companies, especially SMEs, is extremely important,” says Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine’s foreign minister.
“The new online marketplace for Ukrainian goods with a worldwide delivery option will help Ukrainian businesses to export and earn money abroad.”
All Ukrainian manufacturers that meet specific criteria can sell their goods on the marketplace. In particular, merchants must be proven producers of high-quality goods on the Ukrainian market.
“Ukrainian producers, specifically clothes, footwear, and accessories designers, have long been recognized worldwide,” says Mykola Paliyenko, CEO and co-founder of EVO.
“Celebrities wear their products. However, these products’ creativity, originality, and excellent quality are yet unknown to the general public. We want the entire world to fall in love with Ukrainian products and establish a belief that Ukrainian means cool.”
