On November 25, 2021, Dr. Vasyl Hamianin, Ambassador of Ukraine to Indonesia held an online meeting with representatives of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs.

During the conversation, they discussed issues of interaction between Ukraine and Indonesia within the framework of international organizations in particular on the exchange of support for candidates for elections to the governing bodies of international organizations, and swapped views on the intensification of cooperation in the field of maritime merchant shipping and the expansion of the relevant legal framework.

Ambassador suggested the Indonesian side start a regular bilateral and multilateral dialogue, primarily in the form of joint participation in forums and open discussions at the expert level between the relevant ministries of Ukraine and Indonesia on issues of common interest.
