As part of its efforts to develop bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Indonesia in the sphere of science and education, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Indonesia Volodymyr Pakhil met with the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Technology of Indonesia, Mohamad Nasir.

The parties exchanged thoughts on the state of cooperation and opportunities to broaden cooperation in the said sphere. As a positive example the Ukrainian side cited the MOU signed in 2015 between the Kharkiv State V.N. Karazin University and Jogjakarta's Gadjah Mada University.

The parties confirmed that the conclusion of an umbrella agreement as the legal basis for bilateral relations in education will give an extra impetus for bilateral cooperation.
