The Ambassador of Ukraine to Republic of Indonesia Volodymyr Pakhil met with Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Indonesia S.B.Sulisto. Sides exchanged of views on bilateral cooperation in trade and economic relationship and discussed the implementation of agreements reached during the meeting of Presidents of Ukraine and Indonesia within frameworks of the 2nd Summit on Nuclear Safety (Republic of Korea, 3.27.2012). Among other issues was emphasis on economic cooperation.

It was emphasized that an important mechanism for bilateral economic cooperation is the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Indonesian Commission on Economic and Technical Cooperation. Sides noted the importance of comprehensive training and the third meeting of the Commission in Kiev this year. Attention is paid to specific projects and potential areas for expanding trade and economic cooperation.
