The sides discussed the aspects for cooperation of Ukraine with this influential regional organization. It was stressed the importance of ASEAN, which is significant factor in political and economic development in Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific region as a whole.

The Ambassador of Ukraine underlined the interest and willingness of the Ukrainian side to cooperate with ASEAN, especially in trade and economic spheres, as well as involving of Ukraine to implementation a number of regional projects.
