7-10 November 2012 the 5th international defense expo IndoDefense, IndoAirspace, and IndoMarine 2012 took place in Jakarta. More than five hundred companies from forty-four countries participated in the exhibition, including from Ukraine.

Top Indonesian and international defense companies – among them Dirgantara Indonesia, Krakatau Steel, Pindad, PAL, Lundin, LEN Barata Indonesia, Aviabras, Honeywell, Thales, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Embraer, Rheinmetall, etc.) presented their products at the fair.

Ukrainian manufacturers and vendors – including Spetstechnoexport, Ukrspetsexport, Spetsaviakomplekt, Kharkiv Malyshev Factory, Topaz, State Enterprise DershKKB LUCH, Kharkiv Morozov Construction Bureau - were presented at the Ukroboronprom company stand.

Top officials from the Indonesian Defense Ministry, state and private companies, as well as international participants visited the Ukrainian stand and conducted negotiations with a view to concluding contracts.

The Embassy of Ukraine facilitated the participation of the manufacturers.
