Ukraine closes its borders for foreign nationals for two weeks

In connection with the spread of COVID-19, Ukraine will close the border as well as transit through its territory for foreign nationals and stateless persons during the period starting from 16 March 2020 (00 hr. 01 min., Kyiv time) till 3 April 2020.

However, this limitation shall not apply to the following categories of foreigners and stateless persons:

• employees (and family members) of foreign diplomatic and consular missions as well as international organizations, accredited in Ukraine;
• persons documented with permanent or temporal residence permit in Ukraine.

The regime of departure from the territory of Ukraine for foreign nationals and stateless persons remains without changes.

In two weeks, depending on how the situation develops, further decisions will be announced.
