On 16 September 2026, Deputy Minister of Economy and Environment of Ukraine Vitalii Kindrativ met with Vice Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri in Jakarta.

The sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral trade and economic cooperation, with particular attention to preparations for liberalisation of trade between Ukraine and Indonesia.

The meeting also focused on opportunities to expand trade operations, improve market access and deepen practical cooperation between the two countries.

Ukraine and Indonesia confirmed their mutual interest in maintaining an active dialogue and advancing concrete steps towards stronger trade relations.
