On 16 September 2026, on the margins of SEAFEC 2026 in Jakarta, Mr. Vladyslav Suvorov, Deputy Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine met with representatives of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of Indonesia.

Both sides confirmed their interest in further developing direct cooperation between the customs authorities of Ukraine and Indonesia and discussed the exchange of experience and best practices, including in the field of customs control and strategic trade management.

Ukraine remains interested in deepening institutional cooperation with Indonesia and strengthening direct ties between the relevant government agencies of both countries.
