On January 29, 2026, Ms. Yevhenia Shynkarenko, Chargé d’Affaires of Ukraine, visited the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management and was received by the AHA Centre’s Executive Director, Mr. Lee Yam Ming.

The discussion addressed prospects for cooperation in the field of humanitarian assistance, disaster response, and protection of civilians, as well as possible engagements and future collaboration, particularly in the context of Ukraine’s intention to become the ASEAN's Sectoral Dialogue Partner.
