On 16-18 September 2026, a Ukrainian interagency delegation took part in the Indonesia Strategic Trade Management Summit 2026 and the 5th Southeast Asia Forum on Export Control (SEAFEC) in Jakarta.
The delegation included representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy, the State Service of Export Control, the State Customs Service, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The discussions focused on strategic trade management, international standards and regional cooperation, as well as emerging challenges related to global supply chains, new technologies, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and critical minerals.
“Participation in this dialogue is important for Ukraine as an opportunity to share our practical experience, learn from our partners, and further strengthen cooperation with Southeast Asian countries in developing effective strategic trade control systems,” said Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy and Environment of Ukraine.
Ukraine remains committed to strengthening international cooperation in strategic trade and export control and to contributing to resilient, transparent, and responsible global supply chains.
