Tuesday concludes the two-day visit to Ukraine of the delegation of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) of the Republic of Indonesia, led by MPR Head, Sidarto Danusubroto.

The Indonesian officials met with the Speaker of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada (parliament), Volodymyr Rybak in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.

The parties discussed issues relevant to the development of bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation between nations. S. Danusubroto underscored that the type of high-level visit effectuated this week is unprecedented for Ukrainian-Indonesian bilateral inter-parliamentary relations. He also remarked on the impact of geopolitically strategic countries like Ukraine and Indonesia on international relations, and called on Ukrainian officials to support Indonesia’s international policy for peace.
