The Ambassador of Ukraine met with the Secretary General of ASEAN at the Association's Secretariat.

The Secretary General Le Luong Minh was briefed about the current situation in Ukraine, about the Russian Federation's military invasion of sovereign Ukrainian territory, and about the assistance of the international community in countering Russian aggression.

In the course of the conversation the parties raised the issue of broadening Ukraine's participation in international organisations and forums, and of the specific directions of development for cooperation with ASEAN.
